Help with files, encodings, the free trial, Full Unlock, and purchase restoration.

Trial and Full Unlock

TextForge is free to download. Starting the optional trial enables every editing and saving feature for three days. The trial does not renew and never causes an automatic charge. Full Unlock is a separate $4.99 one-time purchase. There is no subscription.

Restore purchases

Open TextForge Access from the app menu and choose Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account used for the original trial or Full Unlock transaction.

Opening files and folders

Choose files through the system file picker. Apple security-scoped access is saved locally when you allow TextForge to reopen a document or folder. If access changes, choose the file or folder again.

Encodings and line endings

TextForge can detect and convert common encodings and line endings. Before saving a legacy file, confirm the encoding shown in the status area. Resource Script files with .rc, .rc2, and .rcs extensions are supported.

Email info@itservice.rs with your device model, operating system version, TextForge version, file type or encoding, and a short description of the issue. Do not attach confidential documents unless they are necessary and you are authorized to share them.
